Women who have wide feet, narrow feet or long feet or a combination of the three have a terrible time finding shoes.  I know I'm one of them.  What happens when the size goes past 9.5?  The styles become dogs meat --- ugly!  What about sexy pretty glamorous shoes for the large wide feet?

I was fortunate to find a pair in Macy's but it wasn't my favorite choice.  I mean I wasn't really really in love with them.

So I made myself a pair of wonderful Gold colored Chinese brocade mules with royal blue brocade lining.  Yep! I made them.  I'll post pics next.  Look for shoes for wide feet, long feet coming next.

 I had an experience three weeks ago where I needed a white button down long sleeve cotton blouse.  Simple you might say.  Well I was rudely awakened to the horrors of shopping for an elusive product.  How hard is it to find a white comfortable cotton long sleeve blouse? Trust difficult.  I was on my way out of town to Detroit for a show and simply wanted my white blouse.  I went from department to department looking high and low.

I was so tired and frustrated by the time I spotted what appeared to be a white long sleeve button down blouse, I was blurry eyed, tired, and worn out.  I finally picked the blouse up put it next to my body and went with it.  Cost: $74.and some change.  

I empathize with the sisters who are experiencing this kind of frustration on a daily basis.  So then I started thinking if I'm having trouble at a size 12/14  what about the women in the curvy range?

Now that the new year is here let say we have some fun.  I'm excited because there are so many new ideas coming down the tube for you.  One thing that bothers me is the fact that there are still so many women who have image problems.  Not happy with their breast, not happy with their hips arms you name it.  I heard one lady refer to her curvy arms as "those big ole things".  Yikes.  We gotta love ourselves.  You have to love what God gave you.  Some of just got more of it.   When I conduct bra fittings I always let the client know her breast aren't the problem --- its the bra!!

What have to show ourselves some love.

Does your bra pinch, poke or bit you?  Do you hate the thing so much you can't wait to take it off before you hit the door of your house?  Alright, it is not you.  It's the bra and it doesn't hate you.  Like most women you are probably wearing the wrong size bra.  How do you know the right size?  That information is determined in collaboration with an expert bra fitter.  There are a lot of people out their claiming to be able to fit you properly.

Ask the fitter how long she's been fitting customers

Ask what the detailes are for a fitting

Ask what her techniques are for properly fitting you

Does the person have a friendly manner - you shouldn't be subjected to ill treatment and verbal abuse
